PUBLIC DISCUSSION
LOVE WITHOUT LIMITS
On February 16, 2019, in conjunction with the February 14 opening of Zanele Muholi: Somnyama Ngonyama, Hail the Dark Lioness at the Colby Museum, the Lunder Institute invited a group of recent Colby graduates working in a diverse array of creative media back to campus to take part in a program titled, ‘Love Without Limits.’
Alexis Atkinson ’15, Milton Guillén ’15, and Anne Vetter ’17 convened to engage with the Muholi exhibition and participate in a wide-ranging conversation about representation in the arts sector, self-expression in repressive cultures and institutions, the intersection of art and activism, and more. Their conversation was moderated by Sonja Thomas, Associate Professor of Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies.
